Jack-Fil-A Nuggets


  • 1 Can of Chopped Jackfruit
  • 1 Cup of Coconut Milk
  • 1/4 Cup of Dill Pickle Juice
  • 1 Vegan Egg
  • 1 Cup of Flour 
  • 2 Tbsp of Powdered Sugar
  • 2 Tsp of Salt
  • 1 Tsp of Pepper
  • 1 Tsp of Paprika
  • 1/2 Cup of Peanut Oil


  1. Cut Jackfruit into roughly bite sized pieces and place in sealable container with pickle juice
  2. Marinate for at least 30 minutes
  3. Mix to together coconut milk and vegan egg in a large bowl
  4. Drain the pickle juice from the jackfruit
  5. Dump jackfruit into egg mixture.
  6. Toss to ensure all pieces are coated
  7. Heat oil on medium high to about 375º in Deep Pan
  8. In a separate bowl, add flour,  powdered sugar, paprika, salt and pepper
  9. 1-3 Pieces at a time, add Jackfruit to flour mixture.
  10. Cook jackfruit pieces in oil until crispy and browned (about 3 to 4 minutes)
